When Andrew Leader established the business in 2004 his main objective was to bring water coolers and fountains back into schools in order to encourage a healthier way of life for the children and promote better Hydration in Education. Since then our mission has evolved into a more environmental one; “we endeavour to help businesses and organisations across the UK, reduce and remove ‘bottled water and plastic waste’ wherever possible. We appreciate that there will always be a market and a demand for bottled water. However, with UK water being amongst the safest in the western world, we believe there is huge opportunity to vastly reduce the mountain single-use plastic water bottles that are consumed in the UK every year. Every minute 14,640 single use water bottles are used in the UK. Estimates suggest only 57.7% of single use plastic bottles are currently recycled. This means 3,257,100,000 single use plastic water bottles are littered, landfilled or incinerated every year in the UK.
